My final day of this juicing adventure has finally passed! It was a much smoother day than I anticipated, as I was tempted with a few outings.
I started the day eating a bowl of granola mixed with some almond milk. I made a blueberry protein shake, but only drank 1/3 of it before I was full so I put it in the fridge for later. I went and met with my trainer, Jeff for an hour workout. I find that morning workouts are not my favorite! I am slow to wake up in the morning and am quite sluggish! Made it through the workout though and always feel better after I do.
I went home to shower and get ready to go meet my Teammate (mentoring student). I didn't have time to eat anything before that, nor was I hungry. So after I met her I sent off some mail and ran home to finish that shake and have an apple with almond butter. I always forget to mention my NanoLean. I drink a NanoLean with every workout and usually have one every afternoon as well. It is the all natural energy, fat loss, stress reducer and fiber drink we sell at Snap Fitness. We offer free samples every day if you come in and ask during staffed hours. I love it though, and I anticipate that it will help my final body fat results.
After lunch, I went to meet some friends at the Chocolate Bar. I had a cappuccino with almond milk and some decaf coffee after that. It was yummmmy. It was great to see old friends and catch up, I needed it! That certainly does not happen often enough. I ran to the bank after that and then back home to make a juice and pack some snacks for a basketball game I was going to watch in York. One of my clients is a junior in high school at Giltner High School and her team made it to their Conference Championship so I was looking forward to watch her play all week, especially since I haven't watched her yet.
I drank my juice (the same as yesterday)-kiwi, apple, watercress, celery, carrots, ginger and a splash of lemon-while I made some popcorn in my cooker. I have one of those old time stove top popcorn makers, so I use olive oil and then flavor it with garlic salt and cayenne pepper. I put that in a bag to eat during the game and I made my favorite mineral water with a whole lime squeezed in it (that is daily as well). So the game was fun to watch, even though they lost. Was glad I packed some snacks.
The evening was pretty dull after that. A nice drive home in the snowfall.
Really glad I finished this challenge! I will post results later. Off to the gym this morning to measure and workout!
