Alright! Day 18 here and gone and I am getting antsy! Ready for this challenge to be over! I want some more fooooood and some social time man! :) Actually 3 weeks was about perfect for this. Totally doable, but slightly challenging--what's the fun if it's not a challenge, right?!?!
I started the day with a 6 am training session, the same as Thursday. All I had was some hot green tea before I left and then I came home and ate a late breakfast. I made scrambled eggs and a protein pancake. I tried a new recipe for the protein pancake and it was delicious! Recipe: 1/2 scoop vanilla protein, 3 egg whites, 1-2 tsp peanut butter and 1/4 cup almond milk. MMMMMMM! It said that was for one pancake, but I would break it up into 2-3 because it was too big. So anyway I was pretty full after that breakfast and didn't eat again until 3:00pm.
I made a blueberry protein shake for lunch and cut up some carrots and bell peppers to dip into my homemade hummus. I still haven't got to make my homemade gluten-free crackers this week, but hoping to on Saturday. I did a 20 minute bike ride before I had lunch. Felt kind of lazy today and didn't want to workout but glad I got a decent sweat in today. Going to get another sweat in with a sauna tonight as well.
I was a basic night at the gym. I trained a few clients and helped close down the gym. I went home to make a green smoothie and had a black bean burger for my protein. I LOVE those things!!!! I have this awesome calorie free dressing that I dip it in and it is yummy!
My green smoothie included carrots, water cress, 2 kiwis, 2 apples, ginger, coconut water and ice. Very good and recommended.
