Juicing Adventure: Day 17

Today was a decent day, although I kind of had the "munchies".  I am not sure why, but guessing because my workouts are getting a bit more intense and my body is craving more nutrition and calories.  

I started off the morning with my blueberry protein shake and headed to the gym for a workout with my Trainer.  Like I said, the workouts are getting tougher as they should because I am getting in better shape.  I feel like I should TOTALLY have  6-pack abs by now!  lol.  After my workout, I rushed home to shower and then had to hurry over to the hospital to train a client there.  I grabbed some homemade deer jerky as I walked out the door to munch on, on the drive.  I came back home after the session and put some black bean burgers in the oven, along with some spinach wraps.  I didn't make them, but easily could and will sometime.  Of course, I smothered my black bean burger with hot sauce.  Mmmm.  

After lunch, I sat and watched television for about 15 minutes before heading to a meeting for a health council I am on.  I came out of the meeting with an aspiring outlook for this group and am very excited for what is to come!  I went directly to the gym from the meeting to train a client and had about 90 minutes before I trained another client so I took this time to talk to gym members and do some organization around the gym.  

I was pretty hungry when I got home and got out the hummus I made a few days ago to snack on and had another piece of deer jerky.  About an hour later I made a yummy juice and put a black bean burger in the oven.  Skipped out on the protein in my juice because was just wanting to eat something!  My juice was: 2 apples, 2 kiwis, broccoli, cucumber, ginger and water cress.  Yummmy!

I am ending the evening just kind of hanging out and playing with the dog (Plyo).  Two more days until my challenge is complete (Friday) and can say that Im ready!  I like having freedom with my choices and like having a glass of wine here and there or meeting a friend out every once in a while so I am excited to have that freedom again, but also ecstatic for what I've learned during this challenge and would do it over again in a heartbeat.  I will definitely continue to juice on a daily basis after Friday.  I will also continue to have fresh lemons and limes in the fridge so I can add them to my water as a daily detox.
