Feeling good! The amped up protein has helped immensely! My muscles are recovering and brain is functioning better! My joints still haven't hurt (unless I demonstrate some explosive move while training, but much better than the constant aching I was having before).
I started off the day with a protein smoothie: frozen blueberries, protein powder and almond milk. I liked this as a pre-workout energy drink. I drank my shake at 8 and worked out at 9am and felt really good during my workout. This was the first "all out" 1 hour workout I have done since starting my cleanse. I had plenty of energy and even PR-ed (personal record) in one of my ab routines. I got a water bottle at the gym and put a NanoLean in it (an all natural energy powder I sell) and that helped with my workout! I could tell I haven't had caffeine in a while because I was a little jittery for a while afterwards.
After my workout I cooked up 2 eggs with sea salt and pepper. I drank my hot water with lemon before my protein shake earlier. I had a later lunch at 2pm and made a quinoa salad: tri color quinoa, cilantro, tomato, avocado, jalapeno. And a juice: celery, apple, carrots, cucumbers, kale, ginger, turmeric, lemon and lime.
I headed back to the gym after lunch and trained a few people before coming home and having one more serving of the quinoa salad (BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD!). I also made my 6 egg whites and put hot sauce on them and snacked on a cut-up apple with my homeade pecan butter! YUM!
