Okay-day 3 was much better than day 2. My hunger was at bay, I didn't have any headaches and felt pretty good overall. I started off the day with juicing 3 carrots, 2 handfuls of spinach, 2 apples, ginger root, a lime and 1/2 a lemon and some coconut water and ice. I always make a cup of hot green tea in the morning too. And before I leave the house I make a big cup of lemon water to go :)
I was a little sluggish to start the day, but I powered through that and was full of energy after my afternoon juicing. I made the same juice as the morning except had 2 carrots and added 1/2 a cucumber (went grocery shopping!). I snuck in 3 pickle spears in the afternoon as well--I thought long and hard about it and figured its a cucumber so I'm not cheating! ha ha. Made another cup of lemon water and went back to work.
I probably didn't drink enough water in the afternoon because I sipped on that water from lunch all evening and did not even finish it. That seems to happen a little too often at work (at the gym) because it gets a little chaotic and busy! My hunger was much more tame than last night and my energy seemed to last throughout the evening.
I came home around 8:00PM to blend up my final juice of the day (even though I wasn't really hungry). Remember I am suppose to get 10-12 cups of juice a day. My final juice was the same as the rest, just added 3 celery stalks, a pinch of cinnamon and stevia. I usually make another cup of hot tea in the evening--this time caffeine free (chamomile or something). Feeling much better this evening and raring to go! So glad I am doing this and sticking with it!
